SamyungTV AIX3-series ensures that reliable, easy access to satellite TV in digital picture and sound on yacht while sailing or mooring. AIX3-series consist of a stabilized 39cm (15″)~120cm(48″) diameter antenna enclosed in an attractive white radome and an ACU(Antenna Control Unit). The ACU has the operation interface for the communication with Samyung TV antenna via RS232C port. Aix3-390 and Aix3-450 is designed for power and small yacht. Aix3-390 and Aix3-450 is smallest size and lightest weight. Built-in GPS and 3-axis servo stabilization tracking system will be serving you fully stabilized TV channel from the satellite. The 9 GHz Search & Rescue Radar Transponder (SART) is a self-contained, waterproof radar transponder intended for emergency use at sea. The Radar-SART is used to locate a survival craft or distressed vessel by creating a series of dots on a rescuing ship’s radar display. A SART will only respond to a 9 GHz X-band (3 cm wavelength) radar. It will not be seen on S-band (10 cm) or other radar. Shipboard Global Maritime Distress Safety System (GMDSS) include one or more search and rescue locating devices.

The FELCOM 19 is FURUNO’s new Inmarsat-C Mobile Earth Station. It provides a high quality two-way telex and data link between ships and other parties at sea or on land. All functions and services of the Inmarsat-C system are provided: EGC (Safety NET/FleetNET), distress message handling, two-way digital store-and-forward messaging including polling, data reporting, E-mail, etc. Distress alert are initiated by the remote distress alert unit. The distress message including own ship’s position is easily edited. A PC can be used for editing the message via Ethernet when it is supplied with dedicated software. The FELCOM 19 consists of an antenna and display unit with keyboard. The display unit embodies a 10.4″ color LCD and processor unit. The distress alert button is incorporated in the display for emergency. Data files and utility program on floppy disks are easily loaded into the processor through the front loading disk drive in the display unit. The compact design of display unit and omni-directional antenna unit offer space-saving installation. An optional GPS module is available for position reporting without operator’s intervention. GMDSS compliance can be achieved by adding a printer and a AC/DC power supply unit.

In case of change of vessel’s MMSI Number, following radio equipment is required to be programmed; VHF DSC(s). MF/HF DSC(s). AIS. We program vessel’s information in all major brands of Radios and AIS. Radio Programming is required when the Flag of a vessel is changed and the vessel is issued with new MMSI Number. The radio programming cannot be carried out by users as it is protected as required by regulations and an experienced and qualified radio technician is required to do this for the owners of the vessel.

GMDSS Shore-Based Maintenance Service System

Shore-Based Maintenance Service Agreement is between the Ship Owner or his Representative and Oilreach Limited with the purpose of maintenance of GMDSS equipment on the vessel specified in the Agreement in an effective working condition and conformity of the vessel to requirements of Convention SOLAS 1974 (Amendments of 1988), Chapter IV, Regulation 15 and Resolutions À702 [17] concerning to GMDSS Shore-Based Maintenance Service system. According to this Agreement Oilreach Limited undertakes to give the Ship Owner the following kinds of the help: Opportunity of reception of round-the-clock consultation of the qualified engineer on any problems in work of the ship radio-electronic equipment at a presence of the vessel at sea. Delivery of spare parts for radio-electronic equipment necessary for repair in any port by the crew as agreed with the Ship Owner. The organization of visit of the qualified engineer for repair of radio-electronic equipment in any port as agreed with the Ship Owner. To support for the given vessel the database containing the information necessary Ship Owner for management of equipment installed on the vessel.
